Meet the Team

Dr. Bell completed his undergraduate coursework at New Mexico State University where he received a degree in Animal Science while conducting research in nutritional toxicology for both the University and the USDA. Dr. Bell received his DVM from the University of California, Davis in 2008 where he focused on Equine Medicine and Surgery. Following graduation Dr. Bell completed a one-year internship in equine lameness, surgery, and medicine at Littleton Equine Medical Center in Littleton, Colorado.

Upon completion of his Internship, Dr. Bell took a position as an equine associate for Napa Valley Veterinary Hospital in Napa, CA where he practiced for 2 years prior to starting Centennial Equine Sports Medicine. Dr. Bell has long held an interest in biomechanics, lameness diagnosis and diagnostic imaging. Through his sport horse experience Dr. Bell has realized the important role that equine chiropractic can play in optimizing the performance and soundness of the equine athlete.  Dr. Bell attended the Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic course in Wellsville, Kansas in 2011. He is certified by the International Veterinary Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Harris received a B.S. in microbiology from the University of California, San Diego, where she also minored in Law & Society. She graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. She worked for three years as an associate veterinarian in a sports medicine practice in the San Francisco Bay area before starting Centennial Equine Sports Medicine in 2011.

Dr. Harris’ veterinary interests include reproductive medicine, anesthesia, lameness, dentistry, and geriatric medicine. 


Dr. Harris grew up in USPS (Pony Club) near Fresno, California, where she competed in 3-day-eventing and achieved a C-3 rating before going to college. She has worked in diverse parts of the equine industry, from dude string trail guide to exercise rider on Thoroughbred racehorses, and as a 3-day-event groom at the 4-star level. Dr. Harris is very interested in sport horse breeding and is knowledgeable about many Thoroughbred and Warmblood sport lines. She currently has a homebred 2020 Dutch Warmblood filly, Verity, who is the product of embryo transfer, and a 2015 off-track Thoroughbred gelding, Geppetto, both of whom are destined for the hunter-jumper ring.
