Dr. Harris has been our vet for five years. She is my favorite vet in the area AND my favorite vet I’ve ever had. I love how Dr. Harris takes a light-hearted, optimistic approach and sincerely cares about each of my horses. She has always been kind and patient with my skeptical and fearful rescued mustang who has needed help gaining trust in humans. She has been there for our family and herd through scary health crises and stood with us as we had to say goodbye. She’s also helped us welcome new herd members offering valuable counsel and evaluating candidates ahead of time. More than a few of my decisions regarding my horses have been greatly informed by Dr. Harris.
We have also worked with Dr. Bell for emergency calls. Their timely response to emergency calls and quick work in the field has saved my horse’s lives more than once. I always find with both of them that they are willing to discuss all the options, help consider my budgetary constraints, and take as much time as needed with me to explain the situation and help me talk through what to do.
We are so incredibly, unbelievably fortunate to have this awesome team in our rural community. Horse ownership is much easier for me knowing I have Dr. Harris and Dr. Bell as a resource and support. I have been able to realize my dreams of trail riding in the back country due in part to Dr. Harris’s unrelenting support over the years. I couldn’t be happier or more grateful to have Centennial Equine as my vet.
